Princess Charlotte may only just be four, but she has already made her mark in the world of childrenswear; and according to a 2015 report, she’s worth £101 million (AU$187,922,110) a year to the British economy. The classic pieces that she’s photographed in – from brands including M&H, Pepa & Co and Amaia Kids – regularly sell out online.

Floral dresses are a burgeoning signature for the young princess; often teamed with a cardigan, Mary Jane shoes and a hair bow. Her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, has also colour-coordinated their outfits on occasion: see their matching ensembles at Trooping the Colour in 2017 and 2018.

As is traditional when it comes to royal childrenswear, hand-me-downs feature in Princess Charlotte’s wardrobe too. In 2016, she was seen wearing the same Amaia Kids cardigan Prince George wore when he visited the Lindo Wing to meet her in 2015. And during a tour of Poland and Germany in 2017, Princess Charlotte was spotted wearing her uncle Prince Harry’s red shoes – which he first wore back in 1986.
