Kylie Jenner’s birthday interiors have to be seen to be believed
The world’s youngest self-made billionaire, Kylie Jenner, does not do things by halves. Her camp-themed Met Gala outfit was next level. Her LA home cost $15 million and features a small-nation-sized pool. The photo shoot that accompanied her Australian Vogue cover story was an epic styling masterclass. And this never-by-halves motto seems to extend to Kylie’s boyfriend (and rumoured husband) rapper Travis Scott, who has covered the floor of her house in a deep layer of red rose petals to mark her 22nd birthday – which actually isn’t for another five days.

A video Kylie posted to Instagram shows the couple’s little girl, 18-month-old Stormi, playing among thousands of petals on the floor of Kylie’s California mansion while Kylie walks barefoot through the blooms. With many heart and crying emojis, Kylie’s Instagram caption reads, “My house is covered in ROSES! @travisscott and it’s not even my birthday yet!!!!! Omg.”

In the Instagram video, Kylie shows the card that accompanied Travis’s grand gesture. He wrote, ““Happy Birthday!!!!” We’re just getting started. Love you!!!!”

As well as the Instagram video, Kylie also posted some Instagram stories that panned around the room showing her lavish rose presents from different angles. This is not the first impressive present Travis has given Kylie. On her 21st birthday he gifted her a vintage Rolls-Royce – which seems like a very appropriate present for a Grammy-nominated rapper to give his billionaire lip-kit queen.

While half a ton of rose petals is admittedly a little over the top interiors-wise, the Kardashian-Jenners are no strangers to incredible home decorating. Khloé and Kourtney shared pictures of their houses after decorator to the stars, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, revamped them over in 2016 — and he did not spare any expense. Similarly, Kim and Kanye enlisted Belgian master designer, Axel Vervoordt, to oversee their multimillion renovation.
The rose petals and bouquets were complimented by candles.
If this is the present Kylie gets five days before her birthday, who knows what Travis will do to her house on the actual day? Cover her marble bathrooms with a dense layer of fiddle-leaf figs? Transform her enormous pool into a succulent garden? Watch this space.
