Dustin Rhodes Comments On The 11th Anniversary Of His Sobriety
Former WWE star and current AEW wrestler Dustin Rhodes revealed on Twitter earlier today that it is the 11th anniversary of his sobriety. Rhodes gives a heartfelt statement about his support group always being there for him, and expresses gratitude for remaining in a much better place.
Today marks 11 yrs of sobriety for me. It is a great feeling taking back control of your life. My support group is untouchable and I am grateful to still be here a better man than I was.
Rhodes chronicled his history of abusing drugs and alcohol, specifically during one of his stints in TNA, in his 2010 book Cross Roads: Goldust, Out of The Darkness. Soon after it was released, Rhodes returned to the WWE and even appeared in the early days of the NXT brand. Check out his tweet below.
