Shane McMahon Steps Down As Commissioner, Owens-Zayn Set For WM34, Daniel Bryan

As advertised, Shane McMahon made his big announcement during the final segment of Tuesday night’s episode of SmackDown Live.

WWE pushed the fact that Shane would be making a WrestleMania announcement throughout the show and in the final segment of the program, Shane made the announcement(s).

Shane-O-Mac pointed out that his actions the past few months is not becoming of someone in his position and as a result, he announced that he would be stepping away indefinitely from his role as SmackDown Live Commissioner.

After making that announcement, he made two more.

Shane announced that Daniel Bryan would be returning to SmackDown Live next week and officially confirmed Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn for WrestleMania 34. This led to Owens and Zayn savagely beating down Shane to end the show.
