Dolph Ziggler On Returning To WWE TV, Possibly Ruining WrestleMania "Dream Match"

Dolph Ziggler recently appeared as a guest on the All Things Wrestling Podcast with Isaac Wentzel to promote this Sunday’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view. Featured below are some of the highlights from the interview.

On returning to WWE television: “I will say that I really begged and pleaded for a couple months off the television show because no matter how good I am or what I’m up to, it seems that 99 times out of 100 I would lose. I didn’t think that I deserved to be on the TV show if I was someone that was losing every night, so I asked to be taken off. I was hoping for maybe six months or a year and it ended up being four weeks.”

On getting the chance to play spoiler at WWE Fastlane: “I’m looking forward to this championship match and ruining everybody who likes to talk about the internet being better than real life and going, ‘Hey, we’re really excited about this internet dream match with AJ Styles vs. Nakamura because it’s so cool that they used to wrestle each other when they couldn’t make it to WWE.’ And I can’t wait to be the spoiler in that.”
