WWE Championship Match Announced For Fastlane PPV On 3/11
While it won’t be another handicap match, the WWE Championship bout for the next SmackDown Live pay-per-view is going to feel similar to the contest we watched play out at the Royal Rumble event last month.
WWE announced on Tuesday night’s episode of SmackDown Live that at the next blue-brand exclusive pay-per-view, WWE Fastlane, which is the final PPV for the brand leading up to WrestleMania 34, A.J. Styles will be defending the WWE Championship once again against both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Instead of a Handicap Match, this time the three men will be competing in a Triple-Threat match with Styles’ WWE Championship on-the-line.
WWE Fastlane 2018 goes down from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, March 11th, airing live on the WWE Network and via pay-per-view. Join us here on 3/11 for live play-by-play results coverage of the show.
