— The July 15 episode of WWE SmackDown scored a 1.72 cable rating, down from 1.73 the week before. The program averaged 2.72 million viewers over the course of two hours

SmackDown continues to trend below a 1.9 average rating in 2011. The program has not exceeded a 1.9 rating since April 29.

— The term “WWE Champion” is trending worldwide on Twitter tonight. This was noted by Michael Cole on Monday Night Raw.

— It was announced during tonight’s Raw that Randy Orton will face Kane in a Street Fight on this week’s episode of SmackDown.

Also announced for the show is Ezekiel Jackson defending the Intercontinental Championship against Cody Rhodes.
