Backstage Update On Carlito, Shane Douglas Visits WWE Show, MSG Sells Out

— While he can still be quite moody at times, Carlito has been telling friends that he’s enjoying his job much more now because his brother Primo is working and traveling with him.

Officials put the two brothers together in hopes that it would light a fire under the former WWE Intercontinental Champion, who has a reputation for getting frustrated and lazy when he’s unhappy with his standing in the company.

— Shane Douglas was backstage at last night’s SmackDown/ECW taping as they were in his home city of Pittsburgh.

— Last week’s SmackDown/ECW taping drew just over 12,000 paid for a gate of $500,000. The morale at the show was strong, especially among the younger wrestlers as the SmackDown brand typically doesn’t sell out big arenas.
