Rusev Reflects On The League Of Nations: “It Could Have Been The Best”

WWE Superstar, Rusev recently spoke with Peter Roumeliotis where he reflected on the former, League Of Nations faction that he was part of.

The group consisted of Rusev, Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, and Sheamus and saw them often attack Roman Reigns. The group never fully connected with fans or were taken too seriously, but Rusev believes it could have been much more if they were given a chance.

“That thing never had a chance, never had a chance. Theoretically, on paper, it could have been the best faction in history, but they never had a chance. They were there to be a punching bag for Roman Reigns, which is okay. We did great, we built him up and he went on to win the title [at WrestleMania]so we did our job right,” Rusev said.
