NXT Superstar Kacy Catanzaro Reportedly Leaving the Company

NXT Superstar Kacy Catanzaro is on her way out of the wrestling business, according to a new report from Squared Circle Sirens.

The former American Ninja Warrior competitor reportedly “handed in her notice” after suffering a back injury. It’s unclear at this time if she has officially been granted her release from the company yet.

Catanzaro made her in-ring debut in April 2018, and while she had no experience wrestling coming in, her incredible athleticism made her a natural fit. She debuted only a few months after signing, and made it to the second round of the Mae Young Classic by August.

She has received high praise from virtually everyone from the fans who have seen her work at live events, to NXT officials and even those in WWE who expected her to become a big star in the women’s division within the next few years.
