NXT Women’s Title Match, Candice LeRae vs Io Shirai Announced for NXT Takeover: Toronto

WWE has officially confirmed that Mia Yim will get an opportunity at the NXT Women’s Championship next weekend when she challenges the “Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler for the title at NXT Takeover: Toronto.

While Shayna has been dodging her for weeks now, Yim has spent that time assaulting her friends Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke in multiple segments at the WWE Performance Center.

Also announced for NXT Takeover: Toronto is a singles match between Candice LeRae and Io Shirai. The later has developed a totally different personality ever since loosing to Shayna Baslzer in a steel cage several weeks ago on NXT television – something she blames Candice Wrestling for in full.
