BREAKING: WrestleMania 36 Main Event Announced

The Scottish Psychopath and the Beast Incarnate will collide on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Drew McIntyre kicked off a red hot edition of Monday Night Raw this evening, just 24 hours after winning the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble match, and he wasted zero time in calling out WWE Champion Brock Lesnar for a title match at WrestleMania 36.

Of course, the winner of the annual Royal Rumble match earns the opportunity to face the champion of his or her choice in a high profile match at the April Classic. Lesnar to his own credit entered at #1 in the bout, and eliminated the next 13 entrants consecutively – until McIntyre hit the ring and sent him flying over the ropes with a devastating Claymore Kick.

McIntyre also didn’t shy away from competition on Raw, issuing an open challenge that was answered by both Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. After winning the handicap match, he was attacked from behind by Lesnar, who delivered a single F5, leaving his WrestleMania challenger on his back.

WrestleMania 36 takes place on Sunday, April 5th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
