Joey Janela Taken to the Emergency Room After Reportedly Suffering Serious Injury at Indie Event (Video)

According to PWInsider.com, Joey Janela appears to have suffered a serious knee injury during Friday night’s Game Changer Wrestling event in New Jersey.

Janela was wrestling Psicosis in a singles match at the event, and after Janela hit a dive onto the outside, he re-entered the ring and was obviously limping.

The match was then cut short as Janela’s manager Penelope Ford crotched Psicosis on the top rope and Janela managed to hit a super kick to end the match.

After the bout, Janela got on the mic and said he knows the injury is serious and he apologized to the fans for the short bout. Janela reportedly became emotional during the promo and said his career had a ton of momentum recently and that this injury will likely derail him for quite sometime.
