Cody Rhodes Free to Use His Last Name?

When responding to a fan online, Cody Rhodes noted that no one is “stopping” him from using his last name, leading to speculation that he might be allowed to use the “Rhodes” last name that was previously reported to be owned by WWE:

A) Nobody is keeping me from using my last name. There’s no evil plot.

B) he could call himself “blue eyed velveteen American dream soul jr” and I wouldn’t be offended. He’s very talented and not hurting anybody.
