Ricochet Video Blogs on His Journey to NXT Takeover, WWE Star Backstage in Chicago Hyping Women’s Title Match

It’s been a hectic week for many members of the WWE NXT brand, as they’ve travelled from live events in the United States all the way to England for the Download Festival and a series of UK live events, only to fly all the way back home for this weekend’s NXT Takeover: Chicago special.

As noted, Ricochet was out of action from the last few house shows. Triple H confirmed that the high-flying sensation “tweaked” something during a match and was taken off the tour asa a precaution. We’ve been told that his match with Velveteen Dream tonight in Chicago is not in question, they just wanted to make sure a minor scare didn’t turn into a full-blown injury.

Nattie Hypes NXT Title Match

WWE Superstar Natalya is backstage in Chicago at tonight’s NXT Takeover event. Now that she’s best friends with Ronda Rousey on Monday Night Raw, Nattie has apparently adopted all of the MMA Four Horsewomen, and will be cheering in the corner of NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler this evening, as she takes on the insane one Nikki Cross.

Natalya herself will be one of eight women competing in tomorrow’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the annual titular pay-per-view, also at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. There has been some speculation that will WWE teasing an injury angle on television in recent weeks, they could be setting up a major heel turn to set up a future match with Ronda. We’ll find out tomorrow night!
