Shayna Baszler to Defend NXT Women’s Title in First Time Match on Next Week’s Show, Aleister Black to Appear

It appears that after weeks of being bullied and terrorized everywhere she goes, Dakota Kai has finally worked up the courage to step into the ring with the “Queen of Spades” herself. Next Wednesday night exclusively on the WWE Network, Shayna Baszler will defend the coveted NXT Women’s Championship against Dakota Kai in the New Zealander’s first ever title match on NXT television.

NXT Champion Aleister Black is also confirmed for next week’s show, and he’s expected to address the future of his title and any potential plants for next month’s Takeover special in Chicago. Right now it would appear that Lars Sullivan stands at the front of the line for a title shot, after defeating both Velveteen Dream and Ricochet in a stacked handicap match.
