Championship Match Announced For WWE Raw 25th Anniversary in Two Weeks

The Miz made his highly anticipated return to WWE Raw this week after nearly two months away, filming the latest incarnation in WWE Studios’ The Marine franchise. The last time fans saw the “most must-see superstar” on television, he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Roman Reigns and received one heck of a beating from all three members of The Shield.

As seen on this week’s Raw, Kurt Angle has officially confirmed that The Miz will get his rematch with Reigns for the Intercontinental Championship in two weeks time at the historic 25th Anniversary of WWE Raw.

That’s the first match to be announced for what is sure to be an incredible night of action, as the company’s flagship show emanates from its point of origin in New York with some of its most iconic names live in attendance. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Degeneration X, Jim Ross, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Ric Flair, the Dudley Boyz, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Nikki and Brie Bella, JBL, Ron Simmons and the New Age Outlaws have all been announced.
