Al Snow saved a child’s life by pulling them out from an ocean riptide.

Talking to TMZ about the situation, Snow said that he was at Santa Rosa Beach in Destin, Florida when he heard pepole yelling. He saw that a boy was being hit by rough water, struggling to make it to safety before being carried away by the ocean’s strong riptide current. Snow went to a lifeguard, but realized that she wouldn’t have made it on time.

“I made it, thank God,” Snow said. “I caught him just by the arm just as a wave started to pull him further out. If I hadn’t grabbed him, I think he would have probably went out to sea.”

Although the two were taken under by a wave, they were able to stay up and made it safely back to the beach. Neither Snow nor the child suffered injuries.

In recent years, Snow has been the owner of Ohio Valley Wrestling, the former developmental territory for WWE. He has since sold his majority interest but continues to run the day-to-day operations of the company.
