WWE Smackdown Preview: Jinder Mahal Defends WWE Title, Becky Lynch vs James Ellsworth, More

WWE is taping today’s episode of Smackdown Live from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The show kicks off at 7PM local time, so we should have advance spoilers beginning around 2PM EST.

Confirmed for tonight’s Smackdown Live are the following:

– Jinder Mahal defends the WWE Championship against AJ Styles

– The Usos defend the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin

– Smackdown team captain Becky Lynch faces James Ellsworth in a rare intergender match

WWE.com is also teasing that the Raw roster may finally get some retribution by invading the blue brand. While it’s possible they could have pre-taped some sort of invasion angle for tonight’s show, it’s very unlikely that anyone from Raw will actually show up at the taping given that they are running a house show in Birmingham at the exact same time with all major names advertised to appear.
