WWE 205 Live Results (10/3): Cedric Alexander vs Jack Gallagher, Kalisto Makes His Cruiserweight Debut

– Kalisto kicked off the show cutting a promo about accepting Kurt Angle’s offer to join the Cruiserweight division, calling them the hardest workers in the WWE. Enzo Amore interrupts him and makes fun of the way Kalisto is dressed, and reminds us all that Braun Strowman once threw him in a garbage dumpster.

– Kalisto def. Ariya Daivari with the Solida del Sol. Daivari was introduced and endorsed by Enzo before the match.

– Drew Gulak came out and gave us his plan for “Drewtopia” and his continued vision for a better 205 Live. This week’s PowerPoint slide is called “No Flipping”, which brings out Mustafa Ali who obviously has a problem with this rule.

– Mustafa Ali def. Drew Gulak with an inverted 450 splash. Good back and forth match, with Ali consistently doing flips in front of Gulak just to rub it in his face. Akira Tozawa was ringside for the match and started several chants before, during and after.

– Rich Swann vs. TJ Perkins is announced for next week’s show.

– The Brian Kendrick cut a backstage promo saying that he felt bad for the Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore. He’s had a change of mind and calls Enzo the man who’s carrying the 205 Live flag, and apologizes for joining the group in attacking him the last two weeks. So it looks like Kendrick and Daivari are on the ‘Zo bandwagon now. Cedric Alexander ran in and attacked him to end the segment.

– Jack Gallagher def. Cedric Alexander via DQ. Another solid back and forth match that ended with Cedric breaking an umbrella over his opponent’s back.

– Gallagher and Alexander continued to brawl in and out of the ring after their match. Referees pour out to separate the two, but they keep going back at it until No-Longer-Gentleman Jack rolls out of the ring and bails. Brian Kendrick limped his way back out and the two heels stare down Cedric to end the show.
