Montpellier stand firm among Nice & Monaco interest for Elye Wahi

According to RMC Sport, Nice are reportedly interested in the services of Montpellier forward Elye Wahi (20). With seven goals in 18 Ligue 1 matches, the young attacker is among the most prolific players under the age of 21. AS Monaco is also reportedly keeping an eye on him, along with several German and English clubs.

Montpellier are currently struggling in the league and is not looking to sell during the winter transfer window. It is reported that the club would only consider an offer around  €30m. Such an offer would be a record for the club. Foot Mercato reported previously that the young striker was on the radar of Arsenal.

Since joining the Ligue 1 club, he had developed into a complete forward, possessing speed, height, clinical finishing, and the flexibility to play in several different attacking roles. He had also scored several impressive goals this season.
