Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham among clubs interested in Lille’s Jonathan Bamba

Fabrice Hawkins reports this evening that Lille’s Jonathan Bamba could be set to make a move before the end of the summer window, with a range of European clubs interested in bringing in the winger.

Three clubs in particular are monitoring the 25-year-old’s situation right now – Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen, and West Ham. L’Équipe had reported earlier this month that Bamba was among the Lille players on the market, as the club looks to recover from financial difficulties.

The former France youth international has been with Lille since 2018, and notably contributed to the club’s Ligue 1 title win last season under Christophe Galtier, beating PSG to the trophy by a single point.
