8th Oct 2019
Having kicked off back in late September, Canberra Centre’s inaugural Temple of Beauty Festival is well and truly in full swing, and is continuing to bring attendees a world of unique beauty experiences, including masterclasses, the chance to meet beauty vlogger royalty and even a panel packed with industry-informed advice from yours truly.
On Saturday, October 12, the Vogue Australia team will be taking to the stage on the centre’s ground level to host our very own Q&A session. During the session, our senior beauty and health editor, Remy Rippon, and market editor, Kaila Matthews, will be ready to answer all of your beauty and fashion-related questions, talk you through this season’s must-try trends, and give advice that’s backed by years of experiences in their respective roles.
Aside from our must-visit Q&A (which you can purchase tickets for here), there are a tonne of other events you can also add to your to-do list. Internationally-renowned make-up artist, Rae Morris—who boasts a well-read list of celebrity clients, including Kelly Rowland, Adut Akech and Jessica Mauboy—will be revealing her cosmetics kit essentials, Elle Ferguson will be dropping by to share her fake tan tips and hot weather hair hacks, and Australian beauty vlogger royalty, Shani Grimmond, will be hosting a meet and greet.
Aside from one-off opportunities, the Temple of Beauty Festival is also holding its Beauty Night Markets every Friday evening until it ends in late October. Aiding you in ringing in your weekend, you will be able to enjoy complimentary treatments, live music, and a pop-up gin bar in partnership with The Canberra Distillery and HerCanberra, which will feature the distillery’s colour-changing French earl grey gin—and the festival is not done with can’t-miss experiences there.

Beauty retailers that have partnered with the festival also have a bunch of offers on hand to help you amp up your beauty kits and cure your complexion. Australian skin authority Rationale will be offering complimentary Instant Radiance Treatments with every skin consultation booked during the festival, L’Occitane is giving away its Floral Travel Collection with every $120 spent in-store, and haircare brand Aveda will give its first 100 customers who recite the code word ‘Temple of Beauty’ 20 per cent off their purchase.
