Marseille reportedly reach fee agreement with West Ham for Dimitri Payet
Premier League side West Ham United have reached a deal with Marseille for the sale of Dimitri Payet worth just over €30m, according to Le Parisien.
RMC believe that a deal worth €32m is about to be concluded in the next 48 hours. West Ham boss Slaven BIlic’s apparent change of heart, to get the sale of Payet done so that the Hammers can re-invest the money back into the market this window is understood to have played a key role in this latest development.
A deal is not yet concluded however, with West Ham and Marseille so far unable to agree on the structure of payments. Marseille are already planning the unveiling ceremony for the player, they want to announce Payet in a Zlatan Ibrahimovic style, in front of the iconic Vieux Port, an announcement that the Marseille Champions Project has finally arrived.
In 48 hours or less, Payet to Marseille will likely be a reality.
