Lucas Ocampos could now stay at Marseille

According to RMC, Argentinian winger Lucas Ocampos could remain at Marseille this month, despite persistent reports linking the player with a move to Fiorentina.

The report states that Michel does not want to rid of Ocampos until the club signs another attacker and the media outlet claims that Ocampos himself would like to fight for his place at the club.

It seems to be a 50/50 situation at the moment – the player’s agent remains in contact with the Serie A outfit about a possible loan deal. Ocampos’s future might not be as straight forward as had previously been thought.
