Hostel Forces 150 Female Students To Get A Haircut To Save Water In Telangana

As many as 150 girls of a gurukul school were forced to get their hair chopped to save water in the hostel in Telangana’s Medak. The girls alleged that the school principal forcibly got their hair cut.

The incident came to light on Tuesday and reportedly took place on Sunday at Medak’s Tribal Girls Gurukul School.

School principal K Aruna had allegedly called two barbers to the hostel after which she forced the girl students to pay Rs 25 each, The New Indian Express said in a report.
