This Newly Built Metro Station In Delhi Is Said To Be World’s Smallest One!

The Mayur Vihar Pocket 1 to Lajpat Nagar stretch on the newly inaugurated pink line will be thrown open to public on December 31 as a new year gift.

Currently, people residing in East Delhi have to first take the Blue line and then interchange at Rajiv Chowk to board the yellow line which connects rest of Delhi with South extension, INA and other major south localities.

The new stretch is expected to reduce travel time between East and South Delhi. One of the stations falling on this stretch is the Ashram metro station. To make lives of Delhi passengers smooth and easier, DMRC had to undertake a complex project.
