Court Orders Immediate Release Of 1995 ‘Tandoor Murder Case’ Convict Sushil Sharma

The Delhi High Court has ordered the immediate release of Sushil Sharma, who was convicted of his wife Naina Sahni in 1995 and burning her body in a tandoor or oven.

The development comes two days after the court sought to know whether a person can be kept in jail indefinitely for committing a murder, even if he has already served the sentence.
