Mecca, Taj Mahal Are Temples, Claims Hindu Extremist Group’s Controversial Calendar

The Hindu Mahasabha, Aligarh released a controversial Hindu New Year Calender, in which it called holy site of Muslims, Mecca as ‘Maaceshwar Mahadev Temple’. Earlier, the right wing groups reffered to Taj Mahal as ‘Tejo Mahalaya temple’.

Apart from Mecca, Madhya Pradesh’s Kamal Maula Mosque has been referred to as “bhokshala” and Kashi’s Gyanvyapi mosque has been called the “Vishwanath temple”, Qutub Minar as “Vishnu Stambh”, Jaunpur’s Atala mosque as “Atla devi temple”and the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya as “Ram Janam Bhoomi”.
