WWE Stars React to Rousey’s Statements, Undertaker/WM35 Update
Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey cut a promo on Raw this week that had fans buzzing. Rousey went off on both of her WrestleMania 35 opponents as well as the company in general. Later that week, she uploaded a video onto her YouTube channel claiming that she went off-script during her promo. She called out company officials, the entire women’s division, and even the fans during the video. Rousey’s comments about pro wrestling being fake garnered the most attention from fans. Her statements come right after a heated Twitter battle with Becky Lynch last week, which several fans and wrestlers believed legitimately upset Rousey. Now, wrestlers have chosen to respond to the comments that Rousey made in her video.
Ronnie since The Man came around.

Can someone please remind Captain Badass here that her last two fights before coming to WWE ended with her unconscious and sobbing in the cage?
Four years ago, you were untouchable. Now? Not so much.
You’re a class act, @RondaRousey

Of course, Rousey’s opponents for WrestleMania 35 were quick to comment on what she said in her video. Becky Lynch mocked Rousey while Charlotte Flair brought up some of her devastating losses from her MMA days. Lacey Evans also talked about Rousey losing to Holly Holm in the UFC. Meanwhile, Rusev and Ruby Riott have taken issue with Rousey’s words. However, Disco Inferno and Eric Bischoff see the whole ordeal as a positive for Rousey and see a ton of potential for storyline growth. It is unclear if Rousey’s promo and video from this week were intended to start her heel turn as of right now. That answer should be revealed as the weeks go on with the feud between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair continuing into WrestleMania 35.

Or she hangs on to the title with legitimate heet and we have a heel champion. Thats a best case scenario for the long term IMO. https://t.co/FpffxBtpS8

Love this. I imagine the fans are losing their shit over it since they have been stuck in this millennial wrestling bubble. Anxious to see what’s next. https://t.co/9mLDs59UEC

Kayfabe has long been dead and the suspension of disbelief does not exist anymore. Thank the overabundance of wrestlers and wrestling media that has treated this as “art” for years.

I’ve said it before….the #RiottSquad is the change that this division needs, cause everyone else seems to have lost their damn minds.

Ronda’s new character is not real. She is playing a badass but we all know she ain’t in REAL LIFE

The Undertaker has competed at nearly every WrestleMania event, but could he be missing out on the show for the first time in years. WrestleMania 35 takes place in just a few more weeks, but “The Deadman” has not appeared on television in months and has no clear opponent for the event this year. Also, The Undertaker’s appearance at Starrcast, a non-WWE event, set for May has caused some to question “The Phenom’s” status with the company altogether. However, new reports claim that Undertaker will still be appearing at WrestleMania this April after all. WrestleVotes says that Undertaker and WWE have been having discussions about his role on the show this week, however, it is possible that he could appear on the show in a non-wrestling capacity.
Getting a ton of Undertaker / WrestleMania questions. Here’s what I’ll say: it would shock me 100% if he didn’t appear on the show. He’ll be there.
TBD as to whether he’s in an actual match or not. Discussions were ongoing this week. Taker news is always tight lipped backstage.
