Last week was a period of arrivals and departures for WWE.

Without much advance warning, Ricochet, Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, and Tommaso Ciampa all debuted on Raw last Monday. After news of them being backstage was reported online, WWE tweeted out pictures of them to hype that they were at the show. Triple H then opened Raw and confirmed that they would be debuting later in the night. Ricochet made a save for Finn Balor and teamed with him to defeat Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush, Black defeated Elias, and Gargano & Ciampa got a win against Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival in a non-title match.

MONDAY NEWS UPDATE

Fighting With My Family opened No. 1 in the U.K.this past weekend. It was No. 6 in the U.S. with a second weekend gross of $4.7 million.

This is a video of the altercation with Colby Covington and members of the crew of Kamaru Usman yesterday at the Palms in Las Vegas on the buffet line.

The big buzz today regards the Momo Watanabe vs. Jungle Kyona Wonder of Stardom title match that took place yesterday in Nagoya. Hopefully I’ll get to see it before tonight’s show. The match, like all matches from the promotion, is up on the Stardom World site.

PW Insider reported a mediation conference is scheduled for 3/13 on the lawsuit by former WWE cameraman Donald Anderson against Thaddeus Bullard (Titus O’Neil) and Bullard’s counter suit against Anderson. Anderson claimed he was injured when Bullard became upset when he was a cameraman filming a segment for the prank show “Swerved” on the WWE network. 
Tommaso Ciampa was pulled from his 3/15 date with Chaotic Wrestling. Due to a neck injury, he’s been working a lot less the last several weeks.
WWE is coming out with a November book release on the wrestling career of Dwayne Johnson called, “For Your Consideration: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.”
Renee Young, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins all attended Saturday night’s UFC show since Lynch had the weekend off with her worked suspension and Rollins wasn’t booked beacuse they are resting his injured back so he can be as close to 100 percent at WrestleMania.

The Women of Wrestling promotion on AXS has a press conference on Wednesday with owner Jeanie Buss (who also owns the Los Angeles Lakers), founder David McLane and AXS TV Fights CEO Andrew Simon for what they say is a major announcement. Champion Tessa Blanchard and challenger The Beast will be also at the press conference.
