MMA Four Horsewomen Member Comments on Group, Charlotte/Holyfield
Over the last few weeks on WWE TV there has been more teases of a Four Horsewomen confrontation (Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke). On her Instagram, Duke showed a photo when The MMA faction first started using the hand signal in 2013 and why their bond is more tightly knit than The WWE group.
“This picture was taken in November 2013. ‘t’s our first Four Horsewomen photo, but we had been friends, training partners, and roommates for a while before that. This isn’t a gimmick. This isn’t a marketing ploy. We don’t just throw the ‘4’s’ when it’s convenient. This is for life. To us, this means loyalty and friendship through good times and bad. Through the highs and the lows. And if you hate it? It’s probably because you can only wish you had friends as good as mine.”
