Dash Wilder Injured, Out For Two Months With Broken Jaw
Unfortunate news for fans of the “top guys” over on Raw. Ryan Satin over at Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Dash Wilder was likely injured at a recent show and is expected to undergo a procedure to have his jaw wired. Wilder injured his jaw during a match and will be missing a few weeks of action as a result. WWE has since confirmed the injury as legitimate, and it looks like the Wilder and his tag team partner will be missing roughly around eight weeks of in-ring competition because of the injury.
When Wilder received the injury has not been made clear, but the fact that he last faced off against the hard-striking team of Shinsuke Nakamura and Hideo Itami may have very well had something to do with it. The Revival recently went on a farewell tour and bid NXT goodbye, and while his partner Scott Dawson gave the crowd a sendoff promo, Wilder was mainly quiet the entire time. Dawson teamed up with NXT Champion Bobby Roode for the duration of the tour.
The Revival was called up to the main roster and debuted on the Raw brand the day after Wrestlemania in Orlando. They began a quick feud with the New Day which ended when the team injured Kofi Kingston’s ankle and the team was moved over to Smackdown. The transition from NXT to Raw was a move long-desired by fans, and was viewed as being overdue. Hopefully in about two months or so, the Revival can return to the brand and pickup where they left off without being forgotten this early into their main roster run.
