College Recruiting: State champion Balow to Minnesota
State champion Will Balow of Lake City has committed to wrestling for Minnesota next season.
Balow is a three-time state entrant and two-time placer. He won the 182-pound Class A state championship last season as a junior. Balow was 5th at 160 pounds as a sophomore.
He an suffered an ACL injury playing football this fall and is expected to sit out his senior wrestling season.
Balow is projected to wrestle at 184 pounds in college.
