WWE Set To Launch New Weekly UK Based Wrestling Show

WWE announced their plans to crown the first ever UK WWE Champion next month when sixteen of the best wrestlers in the country compete over two nights in Blackpool to become the holder of the newly unveiled Championship. 
As well as this two-day tournament, it seems that WWE has plans to make it a weekly show on the WWE Network, much like the 205 Live Cruiserweight Classic. 
Many fans were confused about the new tournament and what it impact it will have on WWE’s two main shows, but it seems that WWE has plans to make the British Championship part of its own show. 

Triple H commented at the press conference in the UK yesterday that if the two-day show is successful, then there is no reason why this couldn’t become WWE’s newest weekly show. 
 “Just like we’ve done with NXT and The Cruiserweights, our intent is in the long-term to use this tournament as a launching pad for a brand new WWE weekly show right her in the UK.”
