Grace Kelly’s family tree: a guide to her grandchildren
It’s a well-documented fact that Grace Kelly was one of the world’s most loved royals. In her short lifetime, before her untimely and ultimately tragic death in 1982, the American film actress made waves in a series of leading roles, before marrying Prince Rainier III and becoming the Princess of Monaco in 1956.
Prior to her passing, the Academy Award-winning star welcomed three children with her husband, one of the longest ruling monarchs in European history. Along with the current Prince of Monaco, Prince Albert II, the pair’s daughters, Princess Caroline and Princess Stéphanie, have drawn a considerable amount of media attention over the years.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that their children, Kelly’s grandchildren, have also grown up in the spotlight. However, while much is known about the beloved princess’s offspring, when it comes to their numerous sons and daughters, it has become rather hard to keep track of their busy lives.
From Charlotte Casiraghi, the equestrian sportswoman and published writer, to fashion designer Pauline Ducruet, who is also 14th in line to the Monegasque throne, the individuals that make up Kelly’s family tree are no doubt ones to watch. As such, has compiled a comprehensive guide to Kelly’s 11 grandchildren, so be sure to familiarise yourself with the next generation of royals below.
