Abou Diaby earning just €10k a month at Marseille?

According to a Marseille representative contacted by La Provence, Marseille midfielder Abou Diaby is currently earning just €10,000 a month.

Diaby has yet to play for OM and the large bonuses in his contract are extremely heavily weighted on him playing matches.

For now, Diaby remains on €2,500 a week but has had to contend with ankle, thigh and calf problems since his arrival this summer at OM which has prohibited him from playing any professional minutes.

The Marseille coaching staff are hopeful that Diaby can play a more active part from 2016 onwards.
