Ever since the news about the massive loan default by jeweller Nirav Modi came out earlier this month, many observers had suggested that it was just the tip of the iceberg.

Since then, other loan frauds including those of Modi’s uncle Mehul Choksi, Rotomac Pens’ owner Vikram Kothari have also surfaced.
