Alexis Claude Maurice, Dalbert & Kasper Dolberg – the first targets of a new OGC Nice era

Nice-Matin report that OGC Nice’s summer transfer window of incomings is about to begin after the French football financial watchdog, the DNCG and the French competition authority, gave the club the grounds to acquire players, in a case of special dispensation, despite the ongoing transfer of ownership of the club from Chien Lee to INEOS.

The 1st individual in question is 25-year-old Brazilian left-back Dalbert, who was at the club before moving to Inter Milan, where he has struggle to make any sort of impact. Gianluca di Marzio reports that Les Aiglons have made a serious bid to bring him back and the player wants to make the move, but Inter Milan would prefer him to join Fiorentina, with whom they are trying to engineer a swap deal for a La Viola player.

21-year-old Danish striker Kasper Dolberg has become OGC Nice’s priority signing in the centre-forward position, per Nice-Matin. The Ajax man was not in the squad for the Dutch side’s Champions’ League qualifying encounter with PAOK this week.

Finally, 21-year-old French attacking midfielder Alexis Claude Maurice is expected to be confirmed as the 1st signing of the Sir Jim Ratcliffe era in a deal that will smash their transfer record, which currently stands at €10m, from Ligue 2 side Lorient.

Patrick Vieira is understood to have convinced the player to join, with Claude-Maurice having rejected a proposal from Norwich City last week.

Alternatively, Les Aiglons are in discussions to bring Algerian international winger Adam Ounas in on loan from Napoli.
