All-Women Crew Of INSV Tarini That Created History By Circumnavigating Globe To Be Given Gallantry Award

The all-women crew of INSV Tarini, which created history by circumnavigating the globe in a nine-month-long voyage, is likely to be recognised with a gallantry award on Independence Day.

The Indian Navy crew was lead by Lieutenant Commander Vartika Joshi along with Lt Commanders Pratibha Jamwal and Swati P, and Lieutenants Aishwarya Boddapati, S Vijaya Devi and Payal Gupta as other members.
