Arsenal are weighing up a bid for Jean-Philippe Gbamin

Versatile Mainz defensive player Jean-Philippe Gbamin is being looked at attentively by Premier League side Arsenal, according to RMC.

The former Lens man can play as a defensive midfielder and a centre-back, but the Bundesliga outfit are looking for €30m in order to allow the player to depart.

The 22-year-old has interest from other, unnamed Premier League teams.
