November 11, 2024 Off By

The manufacturing industry saw steady growth at the end of 2017. With 2018 here, what should our sector expect to see in the upcoming months?

An Evaluation of Industry Growth

Expectations of growth in 2018 will pertain to sectors such as medical, pharmaceutical, food processing, government, aerospace, electronics, telecommunications, packaging, general manufacturing, and more.

More specifically, the global aerospace sector looks promising for the year ahead, with aerospace’s role continually improving in the world economy, driving global growth.

The telecom industry is in the midst of an exciting, transformative period, as it serves as the foundation for the world’s digital economy. The use of telecom services continues to grow, with improvements set to continue for software and network efficiencies.

New R&D approaches in the medical industry for treatment, prevention, and monitoring are forecast to continue to emerge throughout 2018. These innovations include virtual reality, telehealth, 3D-printed devices and other developing technologies.

The world packaging market will continue to explore sustainable initiatives. Circumstances such as the increases in living standards and personal disposable incomes in developing economies will drive demand in the packaging industry for months to come.
