Backstage News On How WWE Will Book Ronda Rousey’s Match at WrestleMania 34, Triple H and Kurt Angle’s Roles

As seen on WWE Raw last night, GM Kurt Angle officially announced that he will team up with Ronda Rousey to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the presence of Triple H and Kurt Angle in the match will be to set up the final confrontation between Rousey and Stephanie, and Meltzer added the following regarding the overall match booking:

“They’re gonna work out everything well ahead of time, it may not be good but it’ll be short. Triple H and Kurt are gonna be there to set up, and they’ll be great at setting up. The role isn’t to have Triple H and Kurt go out there and do a four-star match. The role is for them to go out there and set up the women, for a couple of spots that will be completely planned. It will be a nice, choreographed match.”

As seen on Raw, Rousey hit Stephanie McMahon with a Samoan Drop, which could be hinting at the move being a signature/finishing move for Rousey in WWE. As we noted over the weekend, WWE.com is listing Rousey’s Signature Maneuver as the Armbar, which will likely be her submission finisher.
