Being the Elite Not Over, Smith/Roberts Update, Heat Coming Soon
The Young Bucks teased a while back that their popular YouTube series Being the Elite concluded for good after the series hit 100 episodes. Fans have fully embraced the series over the years due to its impeccable storytelling and character development, and plenty of people wanted to see the show continue. Fortunately, it looks like the Bullet Club has heard the outcry of support for the series from their fans, because the show does not appear to be ending after all. A new video was officially released earlier today revealing that “Being the Elite will be back.” No official date for the next episode of the series was provided, and several changes to the Bullet Club have taken place lately, but the gang will definitely be back very soon.
One of the most peculiar and interesting stories from WrestleMania weekend was the reported incident between Davey Boy Smith Jr. and WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts. Smith had thrown hot coffee on Roberts while he was signing autographs at WrestleCon due to some comments that Roberts made about his father in the past. As reported yesterday, the two superstars have put aside their differences with Roberts dropping all charges against Smith for the incident. Despite this, Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed that Smith is still wanted by the New Orleans Police Department and the charges have not been dropped yet. A representative explained: “Since this is a municipal charge, the victim can withdraw all charges by going through the city attorney’s office once the perpetrator has been located and either arrested or issued a summons.”
WWE has been adding several new shows and classic content to the WWE Network lately. From old episodes of the WCW Thunder series to the successful launch of the Something Else to Wrestle podcast, WWE has been expanding the current selection on the network for a while now. It has now been reported that another classic series will be joining the WWE Network over the next few weeks. According to WWE Network News, episodes of Sunday Night Heat will be coming to the WWE Network. WWE has reportedly been planning to add their secondary show from the Attitude Era for a while now, but an unconfirmed number of episodes will be uploaded to the WWE Network starting on May 7th.
