Blaise Matuidi will stay at PSG – President

PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi has announced that French international and central midfielder Blaise Matuidi will remain at the club, speaking to Le Parisien.

“I can confirm to you that he will not be leaving and that we will be extending his contract. I always wanted him to stay and he also always wanted to stay. He is an exemplary player who always gave everything for PSG. He has an immense heart on the pitch and off of it. He is a truly great representative of the club.”

The player is expected to sign a one year extension until 2019.
