Braun Strowman Advertised to Wrestle at Upcoming WWE Live Event
WWE superstar Braun Strowman was one of the most heavily featured members of Monday Night Raw earlier this year. He managed to break out, become a fan-favorite, and put on some fantastic matches with Roman Reigns. Unfortunately, he injured his elbow recently, keeping him out of action for weeks. Several conflicting reports regarding the severity of Strowman’s injury have been made, WWE themselves claim that he will be out for at least six months. Some reports claim that Strowman will indeed be missing half a year’s worth of action, while others have stated that WWE stretched out the amount of time that he will be away for dramatic purposes.
Fans of the “Monster Among Men” will be delighted to learn that it looks as though Strowman’s injury is not as disastrous as it was made out to be. Braun Strowman is being advertised to face Roman Reigns at a live event in Springfield, Illinois on June 18th. If Strowman does indeed wrestle at this event, then that may mean that he could return to television any week now on Raw or the Great Balls of Fire show next month. Braun Strowman has managed to become very popular amongst the WWE Universe, so fans would likely be excited to see him return, mow down the competition, and see him pick up from where he left off.
The injury could not have come at a worse time for Strowman, because WWE was considering having him face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. After an initial tease on the Raw after Wrestlemania this year, Strowman appeared to be set to face Brock at Great Balls of Fire. Instead, the spot has gone to Samoa Joe, who is expected to lose and then be finished with Brock Lesnar after that. WWE reportedly is now planning on having Braun Strowman challenge Lesnar at SummerSlam this year, so he should be back on television by this August at the very least. Look out though, because it may be just a matter of time before we here Strowman suddenly exclaim, “I’M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!”
