Brest interested in Monaco teenager Maghnes Akliouche
As reported by L’Équipe, Grégory Lorenzi, Brest’s sporting director, has been negotiating for the arrival of Maghnes Akliouche (19) this weekend, a young midfielder who has progressed through the Monaco academy.
This follows the departure of midfielder Romain Faivre to Lyon for the sum of €18 million.
Akliouche made his professional debut in October 2021, coming off the bench in added time against Lyon. He has since made one more league appearance, gaining ten minutes against Clermont this month.
While playing for Monaco’s B team this season in National 2 (French D4), he has scored 3 and assisted 3 in just 11 appearances.
