Celta Vigo open talks for Mathieu Valbuena

According to Le Parisien, Spanish outfit Celta Vigo have opened talks with Lyon and Mathieu Valbuena over a possible transfer move.

The 31 year old has been transfer listed all summer but has failed to find the right club.

Celta Vigo are interested in signing the player and have begun initial talks, but fear that Valbuena’s current €6m a year salary could act as a considerable stumbling block should negotiations advance.
