Champions Cup double-header in store for Leinster and Munster in April

APRIL FOOL’S DAY will see both Leinster and Munster in back-to-back Champions Cup quarter-finals.

The EPCR unveiled their schedule for the knock-out fixtures today with the return of Jimmy Gopperth and Wasps to the Aviva Stadium kicking off the quarter-final stage at 15.15 (BT Sport).

Second seeds Munster have been slotted in to Sky Sports’ prime time slot for their clash with Toulouse at 17.45.

The second set of quarter-finals will take place on Sunday 2 April, starting off with Glasgow Warriors’ tough trip to Saracens (13.00, Sky Sports). Last up, the competition’s bridesmaids Clermont welcome familiar foes Toulon (15.15, BT Sport) to determine who faces the winners of Leinster-Wasps.

Semi-finals will take place on the weekend of 22 April but kick-off times and venues will not be known until the results of the quarter-finals are in.
