Charlotte Return Date, Hogan Meeting Not Filmed, NXT UK Update
As reported earlier today, Charlotte Flair took part in an interview on Sirius XM’s Conversations with Maria Menounos, and she discussed her current injury during the show. Flair revealed that she ruptured two breast implants instead of the reported one implant, and that her recent surgery is the reason why she has been missing time from the ring over the past few weeks. Fortunately, Flair’s return does not appear to be too far off now. Charlotte says expects to be cleared to return to wrestle again on July 31st, which could put her return as early as two weeks from today on Tuesday. Either way, it sounds like the former Smackdown Women’s Champion will definitely be back before SummerSlam this August.
Hulk Hogan made attended his first WWE event in over three years when he stopped by the Extreme Rules show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this past Sunday night. Hogan was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame, and he also apologized to the entire WWE locker room due to his racist comments that ultimately led to him being fired and blackballed by the company in 2015. It was later reported by the Wrestling Observer that WWE filmed Hogan’s apology for a WWE Network special, however, the company is now claiming that this is not true. A representative from WWE has plainly stated that Hogan’s meeting with the talent from this past weekend was not filmed and will not be airing on WWE programming in any form.
